Questions
Why is there no China or Russia target?
The check reads the address that opened this page. Picking a country only compares the browser with that profile. The address does not change.
Does a Chinese browser mean I am in China?
No. Language, fonts, and the system region are device settings. A Chinese system can be used in any country.
How do I read the two scores?
A higher IP purity score is cleaner. A higher environment score means the browser looks more like a particular region. The scales run in opposite directions.
Can this look up someone else’s IP?
No. It checks only the address of this visit, plus another address the browser itself exposes.
What should I do after a high-risk signal?
Open the signal card for its fix advice: switch to a clean residential IP in a supported region, align the system timezone and browser language with the IP, and avoid signing in from WebViews or automated environments.
